For those who are not familiar with bar codes, they are a series of black lines and spaces or various widths that stand for numbers and /or letters, and punctuation symbols. The codes are found on most items produced today to uniquely identify items with a scanner. The scanner reflects light off the code and in turn reads the information, translates the code into numbers and letters that get processed and read by the computer.

If you use your credit card excessively you can get buried under excessive debt. Things begin when you start to pay only the minimum dues. This is because now you have no money left after you are done with meeting all the monthly expenses. In case the repayment amount is large, you will default continuously. All this while, the interest on the amount due will keep on mounting. by the time you will realize that you are in difficulty, it is already too late.

While vacationing in India for a few weeks a while back, the unthinkable happened; I lost my wallet. I luckily still had a passport, but I had to find out a way to get money wired to India so I could get to the airport and come back home. Had I lost my passport as well, this would have been a very different story.

Prepaid credit cards are great for those who find it difficult to control their spending habits. They have a limit imposed by the cardholder that is solely determined by how much money they load onto it. If the person does not have money to load onto the card, then they wont be able to use the card. In short, by the time a prepaid card is used, the bill is already paid. Its probably the best type of credit card available for people who want to stay out of debt.

Most people will tell you that there is not any life after bankruptcy; however the truth is that you can get your life back. When I filed mine I have to admit that I was relieved not to be getting any more calls from the creditors. If you can begin to imagine the freedom of picking up your phone and not having to worry about being harassed by creditors once you are getting on with life after bankruptcy.
